World Water Day 2023

World Water Day, held annually on March 22nd, promotes awareness about freshwater importance and sustainable water management. Established by the United Nations in 1993, it focuses on different themes each year, encouraging action to address the global water crisis. By highlighting water's significance in various sectors and inspiring conservation, protection, and access, World Water Day fosters collective responsibility through events and education.

This year, The Nature of Giving worked with Bharathi Theertha and the Rotary Club of Naperville to organize an event at Hanover Park on March 25th to celebrate World Water Day. This year's theme was accelerating change. Many people gathered at the event to celebrate and speak on their thoughts on how to bring about this change!
